Court Rejects Appeal by Imprisoned Leaders of Egyptian Revolt

This is two days now that the news had made me cry. What is happening?

How are you not crying? Tell me you don’t cry after reading this. Think of these men, think of these humans, and fucking cry, dammit. Whether it’s with tears or with your voice, cry. Could you refuse to eat for a day, for a week, for a month? Could you refuse to eat for 80 days? Cry as you read the hand written letter, smuggled from the prison hospital, of Mohammed Soltan to Abdullah Elshamy as he tells him of his struggle in his hunger strike, and that he drew courage from first the thought of freedom, and second from knowing the Abdullah too was fighting, was struggling. Both men have gone more than 80 days without food. Don’t cry, you bastards.
